UNIIQ, the proof-of-concept investment fund for South Holland, is investing 350,000,- euro in ChatLicense, an innovative startup that is developing an app that functions as a digital “driver’s license” for children and their first smartphone.
Marjolein van Tilburg, founder and CEO of ChatLicense, says: “With this investment, we are taking the app to a next level with personalized learning. With additional modules, we will also remain relevant in the phase after the first smartphne. In this way, we are growing into a fully-fledged solution for parents, children and teenagers who want to use their smartphone safely, smartly and with common sense, anywhere in the world.”
Jasper Geselschap, fund manager of UNIIQ, says: “With the investment in ChatLicense, we are supporting an innovative solution that helps children to be digitally resilient. The platform not only offers protection against online risks, but also education that brings parents and children together. We believe that ChatLicense will make an important contribution to a safer and healthier digital future for the younger generation.”
